Review Process

A multi-tier review process has been implemented to ensure data quality. The process starts with peer chemist review of QA/QC guidelines. Following peer review, the chemist enters the data into the lab sheet, which is reviewed by the chemist’s immediate supervisor. The data is then reviewed by the QA/QC officer and, finally, by the Project Manager or the Laboratory Director prior to release.

During the multi-stage review process, reports are examined to ensure consistency of units and to verify that the data is supportable and contains background information, which is supplied by the client as well as all necessary QA/QC information.
